Ocean City, MD — A newly passed Maryland law is set to expand one of the East Coast’s fastest-growing RV events. For the first time, the OC RV & Van Lifestyle Show, held October 30 to November 2, 2025, in Ocean City, Maryland, will welcome out-of-state RV dealers; a major shift that positions the event among the nation’s most inclusive regional expos.
This policy change marks a win not only for Maryland’s RV community, but for national vendors and attendees seeking more access, innovation, and inventory in the Mid-Atlantic. With over 12,000 attendees expected and more than 150 RV lifestyle vendors, the OC RV Show is rapidly becoming a must-attend destination for travelers, adventure seekers, and vehicle enthusiasts.
The legislative change follows a 2024 veto of a similar statewide bill. Thanks to the leadership of Delegate Wayne Hartman and Senator Mary Beth Carozza, the newly approved version passed as a local exemption specific to Worcester County; home of the OC RV Show. The bill received enthusiastic support from Maryland Tourism Coalition, Worcester County Tourism, and the Town of Ocean City.
“Opening our doors to out-of-state dealers helps us meet growing demand for diverse rigs, gear, and lifestyle brands,” says Rich Hutchins, founder of the OC RV & Van Lifestyle Show. “This puts Maryland on the map as a serious destination for RV enthusiasts; not just in the Mid-Atlantic, but nationwide.”
With the 2025 show set to include overlanding setups, custom van conversions, live BMX demos, skateboarding competition, and the new Bronco Beach Bash experience, it offers more than a traditional RV expo. Visitors can expect a beachside celebration of the full RV lifestyle; from tricked-out rigs to community meetups and curated gear.
